Rules

Glowback measures your visual memory. Cells of a grid light up for a moment, then go dark: tap them all, in any order. Each level cleared adds a cell, and the grid grows every two levels. A wrong cell costs a life and the same level comes back with other cells; the game ends at the third mistake.

  • The leaderboard counts the level reached, then the time of your right answers.
  • Daily challenge: the same grids for everyone, renewed at midnight (Paris time). Only your first run is ranked; the next ones are practice.
  • Free run: new grids every game, your best run of the day counts.
  • Leaving or reloading the page during a level counts as a mistake.
  • With your finger, the mouse or the keyboard (Tab, then Enter on a cell).

Glowback: the rules in brief

Cells light up then go dark: tap them all again. One more cell at each level; you have three lives.

Glowback: how to get better

  • Remember the shape the cells draw rather than each cell.
  • Tap the edge cells first, then the middle ones.
