Brain training: one game per skill, one challenge a day

Neurostim has been a brain training site since 2008. It has become a speedrun site: every game has its daily challenge, the same for everyone, and your time places you on the leaderboard of the day, the week and the month.

Pick a skill: memory with Spanrun and Glowback, mental math with Fast Count, logic with the daily sudoku and minesweeper, focus with Hueclash and Gridrush, reflexes with Flashtap. A game lasts from a few seconds to a few minutes.

These are games, not medical tests: a score measures neither an IQ nor an illness. What it measures is your game of the day against everyone else's, and your progress from one day to the next.

Today's challenges

New challenges in 9 h 43 min (midnight, Paris time).

The games

  • Spanrun: remember digits flashing by, one more each round. The same digits for everyone each day, a free run and leaderboards.
  • Glowback: cells light up, then go dark: find them back. One more cell at each level, three lives, the same grids for everyone every day.
  • Fast Count : a training module to sharpen your mental math.
  • Daily Sudoku: the same grid for everyone, three difficulties, a clock and the daily and weekly leaderboards.
  • Hueclash: thirty colour words written in another colour. Answer the colour of the ink, not the word, as fast as you can.
  • Gridrush: tap the numbers in order, as fast as you can. The grid of the day for everyone, a free run, three sizes and leaderboards.
  • Flashtap: five signals, one reflex. Tap as soon as the target lights up: your average in milliseconds against everyone else's, every day.
  • Minesprint: the daily minesweeper against the clock, the same minefield for everyone, no guessing, three sizes and daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards.

Tips to go faster

  • Play a little every day rather than a lot once: the challenge changes at midnight.
  • Mix the games: each one works a different skill.
  • Warm up on the free run before the daily challenge: it only counts once.

The leaderboard

Every challenge has its daily leaderboard. The day's top ten score 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 points, every other ranked player 1 point: the week and the month add these points up.
